I've got a dog of my own, Terry. He's getting on a bit now, and every year I take him out and get proper photos of him, because I know one day he won't be here, and I don't want to be left with just blurry phone shots to remember him by.
That's really where Chalk & Collar came from. I know how fast it goes, and how much a proper photo of your dog, the real, muddy-nosed, mid-zoomie version of them, ends up meaning more than you'd think.
I'm local, fully insured, and every session is just me, you, and whichever dog's in charge for the day.

Yes, I come to you. I only take bookings in areas I can comfortably travel to, so if a date's available for your area, I can get there.
So I can check your dates and area work before anything's confirmed. It takes a minute to fill in. I'll text you to confirm, and just need a quick reply from you to lock in your slot.
You'll get a text from me once I've checked your date and area. Just reply to confirm and you're locked in. Sessions are one-to-one, so if I don't hear back within 24 hours I'll release the slot to the next request. I'll also text you the day before as a reminder, so you always know your session's on.
After your session, I'll send you a private online gallery. Once you've picked your photos, you'll get a simple checkout link — nothing to pay before that.
Yes, just get in touch. Sessions are booked one at a time, not in batches, so moving your date doesn't affect anyone else.
Just text me as soon as you know. The earlier the better, since each session is booked just for you and your dog. No fee either way, I just ask for a heads-up so I'm not driving out for nothing.
